This Privacy Policy explains how the operator of order-optimus.info (“Optimus”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit this website, reserve an Optimus robot, or contact us. It also explains the choices and rights you have. We wrote it to be read, not skimmed past.
Who we are
order-optimus.info is the website through which Optimus Series 01 reservations are accepted. For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
For any privacy question or request, write to [email protected]. We aim to reply within 30 days.
Data we collect
Information you give us
- Reservation details — full name, email address, country of delivery, selected edition and finish, and your optional description of how you plan to use the robot.
- Payment information — deposit payments are handled by our payment processor. We receive a payment token, the last four digits of the card and the transaction status. We never see or store your full card number.
- Communications — messages you send to us by email and any information you include in them.
- Marketing preferences — whether you opted in to build updates.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language and approximate location derived from the IP address.
- Usage data — pages viewed, referring pages, time on page and interactions, collected only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Local preferences — settings such as your cookie choices and preferred measurement units, stored in your browser.
Information we do not collect through this website
We do not collect sensitive categories of data (such as health, biometric or political data) through this website. Please do not include such information in the optional free-text field.
Data from the robot
This policy covers the website and the reservation process. Once a robot is delivered, its operation is governed by a separate Product Privacy Notice supplied with the device. In summary, that notice commits to the following defaults:
- Camera, microphone and home-map data is processed on the robot and is not uploaded by default.
- Cloud features are off until you switch each one on individually.
- You can permanently delete on-device data and associated account data at any time.

Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share it only with:
- Service providers acting on our instructions — hosting, email delivery, payment processing, analytics (only with consent) and customer support tools — bound by contracts requiring confidentiality and security.
- Delivery and installation partners, closer to delivery, who receive the minimum information needed to schedule and complete it.
- Authorities, where required by law or to protect rights, safety and property.
- A successor entity, if the Optimus business is reorganised, merged or sold, subject to this policy continuing to apply.
International transfers
Our service providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area or the UK. Where that happens, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses together with additional safeguards, so your data receives an equivalent level of protection.
How long we keep data

| Email correspondence | Up to 24 months after the matter is closed |
| Analytics data | Up to 14 months, in aggregated or pseudonymised form |
| Server security logs | Up to 90 days |
How we protect data
We use TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for stored records, role-based access with multi-factor authentication, least-privilege permissions and regular reviews of our providers. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights:
- Access — obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention duties.
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time.
- Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting earlier processing.
- Complain — to your local data protection authority.
To exercise a right, email [email protected] from the address linked to your reservation. We may ask for information to verify your identity. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.
US state privacy rights
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access and delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising.
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for targeted advertising. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a valid opt-out. You may use an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf.
Children
This website and reservations are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the product and the law change. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify reservation holders by email before the change takes effect.
