These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of order-optimus.info (the “Site”) and any reservation you place for an Optimus robot. By using the Site or placing a reservation, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to place a reservation. Reservations are for personal or internal business use and not for resale. We may refuse or cancel reservations that appear to be placed for resale, in bulk, or using false information.
What a reservation is
A reservation holds a place in the Series 01 delivery queue. It is not a purchase contract for the robot.
- When your unit is ready to be allocated, we will send you an invitation to finalise your order, including final price, taxes, delivery charges, estimated delivery window and the purchase terms applicable at that time.
- You are free to decline the invitation, in which case your reservation is cancelled and your deposit refunded in full.
- A binding sales contract is formed only when you accept the final order and pay the balance or agreed first instalment.
Queue positions are allocated in the order reservations are confirmed, per delivery region. Delivery sequence may also depend on configuration, production capacity and regulatory approval in your region.
Deposits and payments
A reservation requires a deposit of USD 200 (or the equivalent shown at checkout). The deposit is fully refundable until you accept your final order, as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. On acceptance, the deposit is credited against the purchase price.
Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not charge interest on deposits and deposits are not held in a trust or escrow account unless required by local law.
Prices and specifications
Prices displayed on the Site are estimated manufacturer’s suggested retail prices in US dollars, excluding taxes, duties, delivery and installation, unless stated otherwise.
- Specifications, features, editions, finishes and images describe pre-production units and product targets. They may change before delivery as a result of engineering, safety, certification or supply-chain requirements.
- If a change materially affects the edition you reserved, we will tell you before finalising your order and you may cancel for a full refund.
- Obvious pricing or typographical errors do not bind us.
Delivery estimates
Delivery dates and quarters shown on the Site are estimates, not guarantees. Timelines can shift because of manufacturing, logistics, certification or events outside our control. See our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Transfer of reservations
Reservations are personal and may not be sold or transferred without our written approval. To request a transfer to a family member or colleague, contact [email protected].
Use of the Site
You agree not to:
- use the Site in a way that breaches any law or regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers or related systems;
- use automated means (bots, scrapers) to place reservations or collect data;
- interfere with the Site’s security, performance or availability;
- submit false, misleading or third-party information without authorisation.
Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, product designs, interface elements and code — is owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property laws. Photography is used under licence from its respective creators. You may view and share links to the Site for personal, non-commercial use; any other use requires our prior written permission.
Product safety
Optimus is a powered machine. When your robot is delivered, you must follow the safety instructions, installation requirements and usage limitations supplied with it. A humanoid robot must not be relied upon as the sole supervisor of children, vulnerable adults or pets, nor used for medical, emergency or life-critical purposes.
Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Site, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Product warranties, where applicable, are provided only in the final purchase terms. See also our Disclaimer.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Site or a reservation is limited to the amount of the deposit you paid. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including loss of profits or opportunity.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Consumer rights
If you are a consumer, you benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects those rights. EU and UK consumers have a right of withdrawal; because deposits are fully refundable, our cancellation terms meet or exceed that right.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country of residence where mandatory consumer law requires it, and otherwise by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of the Site is established. Before starting any formal proceedings, please contact [email protected] so we can try to resolve the issue informally within 60 days. EU consumers may also use their local alternative dispute resolution bodies.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes apply to reservations placed after the updated date. For existing reservations, material changes that are unfavourable to you will be notified by email, and you may cancel for a full refund if you do not accept them.
